Rich looks forward to speaking to any groups (men, women, co-ed) or events (breakfast, lunch, retreat, evening, Sunday) as his schedule allows.
Ministry, writing, and speaking is currently in addition to his full-time job of 30+ years.
Below are a number of available topics.
1.Forgotten Fruit of the Spirit (featuring Vegetables of the Spirit)
Rich’s primary, and favorite message, it takes a broader look at the virtues the Holy Spirit develops in the lives of a Christ-follower, both those churches tend to like (Fruit) and those they do not (Vegetables) and the variety of connections between the two.
Rich recommends a pre-meeting to discuss areas of focus of most interest to your group.
2.Resist the BAIT, Avoid the Trap (Pornography, but applicable to any addiction)
Optional additional screening of Music for the Soul’s documentary, “Somebody’s Daughter”
Note: While pornography is called as “Every Man’s Battle,” this topic is not one just for men. Presentation can be shared with slight modifications for an audience of men, women, or mixed.
3.The Rest of the Bible Story
You taught your young children the Bible stories, but what have you done since? Is their impression of the Bible still based on bright colored, cardboard pages of My First Bible? Will their God be able to address the issues in their life through their teen yards and into adulthood?
4.Why Ministry to Men? Fish for Men, Change the World!
With limited resources, churches can’t do everything for everybody, but why should men not be an afterthought monthly breakfast? Rich’s past work with national ministries such as Promise Keepers and Man in the Mirror along with his own local and regional ministry efforts show how men’s discipleship can help all areas of church.
Originally set up as a workshop for a Christian Worker’s Conference, this is also a great kickoff for a church as they look to launch or reset their ministry to men.
